No clue if I've asked this yet.


Cyberprime, can you:

... load saves from RTB?
... have physics and bricks with gravity?
... create a new paint-can color, and have people actually see it?
... still use the editor wand?
... have sex with me?

load saves from RTB? - No, not at the moment. Right now we are using TBM's save system, as Freebuild is built upon TBM, and that save system is faster, and more lightweight than RTB's. Eventually someone might find a way to port builds from one to the other. However, this gives you guys a change to be original again, and build things better than before.
have physics and bricks with gravity? - Not at the moment, but we haven't done much with the brick system. We have the engine, so we could possibly make these changes (if they were even possible). We will most likely wait until we have LDraw integrated to do anything with the bricks.

We already have a color picker GUI similar to photoshop's where you can simply pick a color, amount of red, green, blue etc. and set your bricks to that color. We are going to bring in LDraw, and then start using a system where rather than decals you just need a tiny swatch of color to put under all the detail on the brick, allowing for less space taken up.
still use the editor wand? - You will be using the editor staff, but in essence it's the same thing (if not better).

It's not a mod, it's a new game. We stripped down the TBM codebase, and built from there. I didn't make that choice, Elfprince did. Trust me, there's RTB stuff in there too, as well as plenty of new stuff.

Also keep in mind this is an alpha, and we are by no means done. By the end of this you won't even recognize it.

Sadly it might be a little longer than a few hours because Elfprince doesn't seem to be responding to... well, anything. I understand it's vacation, but really. He has a few bugs I need him to work out, and they are things that are vital to the game.

Noez, Editor Staff? I HATE IT! Editor wand is much more confortable to use and simpler IMHO
Maybe you could give us option which tool we choose? There would be Editor Wand and Editor Staff :D That would be the best solution, everyone would be fine.

Also, i don't wanna see the triggers system that i saw in TBM or RTB, they both suxed. RTB = buggy, TBM = boring and assfucking. Need something new. Who agrees?

And Custom Scaling/Shifting/Rotating. THIS MUST BE or i won't play.

I want to get Custom shift in the game. Luckily I have experience with it because I've worked with Bleh's stuff for years. I will see what I can do; it may be a mod.

As far as editor staff vs wand: To be honest, I think you will find that as far as editing bricks there isn't a huge difference. The GUI for the editor staff sucks, and I am working on it. As far as having both tools: probably not. I will do my best to make it more streamlined for both groups. We haven't done much in terms of movers (or switches if you'd prefer) because we've been busy.
