Information:

Founded in March of 2007, A World Power was once one of the largest regions in Nationstates, and is currently re-building to its former glory! We as a region hold no specific political ideology, but nations organise themselves into Great Houses of likeminded individuals. The leaders of the three largest Houses form a Triumvirate which is responsible for leading the region. We believe in open elections for all citizens of our region and operate a one of the major defender forces in the game, which protects regions across Nationstates from invasion.

Welcome to A World Power!

Our forum acts as the hub of our community, and is where our Government, Citizens Assembly, and Regional Defence Force are coordinated. But it's not all serious business! The legendary Rucket Park is full of polls, spam games and nonsense chat, our Role Playing Pavilion is the place for all your roleplaying needs, and the A World Power Center is where we get to know each other.

Hey Bassy,

Might as well discuss it here as no one apart from Judges and Admin can see the posts.

In regards to the trial I would say AV's arguement is flawed as Gov actually has broken rules established by Ran when he was a global mod and posted as standards of these forums, so we are within our rights to ban him.

Secondly the only reason he didn't get banned last time was because I didn't stay angry at him long enough and agreed to this ridiculous hiatus. I did think he had changed when I told him the restirctions for getting involved in RP but he hasn't got involved because there are restirctions.

As far as I see it keeping Gov in the region is damaging to the region and as Judges it is our duty to protect the region from harm so we should ban Gov.

I definitely agree that AV's argument was flawed. As of now I am skightly swayed pro-Govindia banning, but I would like to hear what Fatalem has to say.

Btw, I believe we should have a jury. I don't like the fact that important decisions such as the banning of a member are left to one official that is not appointed directly by the people and likely may not represent the will of the people. Yes I do realise that if they believe a judge is doing wrong, they can petition their senator to start a vote of no confidence, but I still believe that some input should be allowed by non-judicial citizens.
