Information:

Founded in March of 2007, A World Power was once one of the largest regions in Nationstates, and is currently re-building to its former glory! We as a region hold no specific political ideology, but nations organise themselves into Great Houses of likeminded individuals. The leaders of the three largest Houses form a Triumvirate which is responsible for leading the region. We believe in open elections for all citizens of our region and operate a one of the major defender forces in the game, which protects regions across Nationstates from invasion.

Welcome to A World Power!

Our forum acts as the hub of our community, and is where our Government, Citizens Assembly, and Regional Defence Force are coordinated. But it's not all serious business! The legendary Rucket Park is full of polls, spam games and nonsense chat, our Role Playing Pavilion is the place for all your roleplaying needs, and the A World Power Center is where we get to know each other.

I don't understand why everyone is so sad. Sure he had some good songs, but he was a pedophile.

It's still sad. He was arguably the best known person on the face of the earth.

I find it hard to believe that everyone makes fun of him when he is alive because he had multiple physical change to him. When he dies he gets honoured for his life achievements? I mean really, you change your minds when he dies but make fun of him when he is alive?

Michael Jackson was a great singer, people just judged him because they only ever pick up the flaws that he has. Cumon guys, I just can't figure out why people do that. Michael Jackson was the best when he was ALIVE and he is still the best right now full stop.

I do not agree that MJ was a paedophile, firstly he was found innocent, so saying he was is stupid, especially as none of us were in the court so we do not know what came up to find him that, also if you are going to say he was wrong, he wasn't, he had tough times, everyone has something wrong in them, just think on what is wrong about you and take a lesson from the bible, people of God will not judge, for he has foughts and so do they.

I am actually freaked out that I was in a concert last night and the time Jackson had the attack was within ten minutes of the dance group doing thriller, and as the concert started about five minutes early and ended ten minutes early, the song took place within minutes of the cardio arrest...

Freaky

I think its no doubt that he accomplished lots as a celebrity, but with most celebrities his popularity grew to a point where it took its toll on him and his family. Some can handle it, obviously some can't. Most people are normal, a few flaws here and there, nobody is perfect, but when the few who go from normal to famous do it either too fast, or just simply cannot handle it. You can take a look at that John and Kate, 2 normal people, then they had 8 kids (for the record, I must say that that must have been one hot night of insemination and conception) and got a TV show, and look at them now, they are separating because of what their celebrity has grown to. Not only are the separating, but they are continuing their stupid show, which is the cause of their separation. They could have easily put the show on hold, or ended it, and work on their marriage but they didn't.

What it all sums down to, MJ did some amazing things in the music and general entertainment industries. And he should be thanked for it, and will be missed because of it. What he did in his personal life isn't for my judgement. But we can all agree, regardless of what he did or didn't do, he was an entertainer and will be missed.

Much more tragic death, IMHO.

"Mighty little force is needed to control a man whose mind has been hoodwinked; contrariwise, no amount of force can control a free man, a man whose mind is free. No, not the rack, not fission bombs, not anything — you can't conquer a free man; the most you can do is kill him." ~ Robert A. Heinlein

 Wow, random.

Michael Jackson decided to buy the rights to the whole Beatles catalogue(which means songs). Probably because he wanted a part of something that was a millions times a famous as he was.
