Sapientia member NoJoe made the announcement saying that FRA leader Falconias has been bashing the Sapienta president and has led to the demoralization of the entire region. NoJoe also lashed out at Falconias saying Falconias was rude and disrespectful, and in no way fit to lead a large international organization. He, like many others within the hallowed halls of what used to be the just FRA, let power go to their heads, and popped off at anything that they didn't seem to agree on. NoJoe concluded by stating that We don't need you, FRA, and you don't deserve Sapientia. Falconias promptly snapped back at NoJoe by saying:
Not much is known, if Falconias really did abuse his power, or which side is at fault. Neither took it very well, but it mays have been a mistake for Sapientia it being a region that only has 65 nations as opposed to the FRA, a multiregional organization. We will have to see how this all unfolds. Ranholn Wins AWP Delegate Elections! 00000 A World Power delegate elections recently closed with veteran member, Ranholn coming out on top. It was a long nerve racking election, long time members say it was the closest election in AWP history. AmericaXLI [ 5 ] [26.32%] Ranholn [ 7 ] [36.84%] The Empire of Alararia [ 3 ] [15.79%] The Many Puppets of Nittshatta [3] [21.05%] The first few days of the elections remained a tie between AmericaXLI, Ranholn, and Alararia, until a wave of people came in and cast their vote in for Nitshatta putting him in front. It all looked lost for the other candidates when Nitshatta held the lead for a couple of days. But Ranholn supporters came through and cast their votes, putting Ranholn in front, and then it was full speed ahead, with only AmericaXLI coming close, Ranholn is the new delegate of 00000 A World Power. Though it was a close race it also was one of the lowest voter turnouts in AWP history.. Real World News Obama to send 17,000 More US Troops to Afghanistan "This reinforcement will contribute to the security of the Afghan people and to stability in Afghanistan," Obama said in a statement. "I recognize the extraordinary strain that this deployment places on our troops and military families. I honor their service, and will give them the support they need." Obama said the deteriorating security in Afghanistan made the troop increase necessary, adding that the country has not received the strategic attention or resources it needs. Even though 17,000 troops have been authorized to go, the Pentagon identified and mobilized only about 12,000. Of those troops, 8,000 will be Marines and the 4,000 others will comprise an Army Stryker Brigade. The additional 5,000 troops will be identified and announced at a later date. Obama sets timetable for withdrawal of troops from Iraq Barrack Obama placing his imprint on the war in Iraq, announced a timetable Friday for a drastic reduction in troops but failed to satisfy war critics, who objected to his plans to leave behind a substantial "transitional force." Obama, who has opposed the war from its start, outlined his vision for leaving Iraq on a stable footing in a region where Washington will be an active player, even holding talks with Iran and Syria. But he pointedly said Iraq's leaders are responsible for ensuring the country's peace and guiding its future.
