Information:

Founded in March of 2007, A World Power was once one of the largest regions in Nationstates, and is currently re-building to its former glory! We as a region hold no specific political ideology, but nations organise themselves into Great Houses of likeminded individuals. The leaders of the three largest Houses form a Triumvirate which is responsible for leading the region. We believe in open elections for all citizens of our region and operate a one of the major defender forces in the game, which protects regions across Nationstates from invasion.

Welcome to A World Power!

Our forum acts as the hub of our community, and is where our Government, Citizens Assembly, and Regional Defence Force are coordinated. But it's not all serious business! The legendary Rucket Park is full of polls, spam games and nonsense chat, our Role Playing Pavilion is the place for all your roleplaying needs, and the A World Power Center is where we get to know each other.

Even if you don't like Palin herself (or her policies etc.) do you think the choice will help McCain on election day?

I think she does give him a chance - now there's an actual human on the republican ticket!

*hides*

Actually, she's probably the least objectionable person on the major-party tickets. I need more info before I decide she's on the up-and-up. I do think she changes the dynamics a lot and is an advantage for McCain.
"Mighty little force is needed to control a man whose mind has been hoodwinked; contrariwise, no amount of force can control a free man, a man whose mind is free. No, not the rack, not fission bombs, not anything — you can't conquer a free man; the most you can do is kill him." ~ Robert A. Heinlein

it really changed the dynamics for the whole party... they went from a bunch of old fogies to... her

from a few polls I've seen she really made people think twice about the ticket... she will drive a lot of people away but is picking up a lot more than left at this point...

one poll I saw showed a lot of people liked her and a few less hated her and some didn't care

as Biden really didn't do much for Obama except maybe help in Pennsylvania

I don't know of too many people who said "OMG! Biden is with Obaba I wanna vote for him!"

will be interestin

the vice-presidential debate should be interesting

I think that for some people it will come down to who they could stomach voting for. Unfortunately, the race and gender card will have a major effect on voting in some circles.

She's more of a liability than an asset. Unless you lived in Alaska you never heard of her before.
Gordon Brown or Osama Bin Lden would have been a worse choice but she hasen't helped. Especialy with her daughter.

It seems the initial "wow" over Palin ahs rubbed off... and she's turning out not to seem too bright...

But the debate on Thursday should be very interesting...

obama aint the savior either

Hell'uva'lot better than McCain\Bush Policies.

He's a Savior to me.

Anyone who opposes and can change ( with working policies ) this nation to go in the right direction, is indeed America's Savior. This is NOT John S. McCain.
