Information:

Founded in March of 2007, A World Power was once one of the largest regions in Nationstates, and is currently re-building to its former glory! We as a region hold no specific political ideology, but nations organise themselves into Great Houses of likeminded individuals. The leaders of the three largest Houses form a Triumvirate which is responsible for leading the region. We believe in open elections for all citizens of our region and operate a one of the major defender forces in the game, which protects regions across Nationstates from invasion.

Welcome to A World Power!

Our forum acts as the hub of our community, and is where our Government, Citizens Assembly, and Regional Defence Force are coordinated. But it's not all serious business! The legendary Rucket Park is full of polls, spam games and nonsense chat, our Role Playing Pavilion is the place for all your roleplaying needs, and the A World Power Center is where we get to know each other.

The General Election of 28th March has seen a new Government installed in Great Britain and Ireland led by, the former Duke of Cambridge, Sir Posul . He has further appointed his new Cabinet:

Foreign Secretary: Fenchurch
Home Secretary: Flake
Community Secretary: The Kingdom of Paquerettes
First Sea Lord: King John of Gililand

The Prime Minister made clear in his speech the desire for 'active Government':

Quote:

I know that in previous Governments it has become almost customary to see 'armchair' Prime Ministers. That will not be the case in this Ministry. I shall be taking full and active involving in every single Government Department, and I expect of my Ministers the very highest quality of work and service.

The Prime Minister had more to speak on the matter of Foreign Relations.

Quote:

For all those across Nationstates who believe that Great Britain and Ireland has closed its doors to the outside world, I say to you that is not the case. Great Britain and Ireland is back on the political map of Nationstates, and I shall be making it my personal duty to extend to each and every single one of our friends the hand of co-operation and comradeship. I am confident that the next ten weeks shal see great diplomatic progress abroad as well as achievements domestically.

The new Government has many priorities for its agenda including recruitment, greater naturalisation and cultural improvement as well as reviving the Great British and Irish Navy which last term had been dormant. The Government shall have approximately ten weeks to change this situation.
