For the purposes of this bill "AWP" refers to "00000 A World Power". This bill shall bring all following parts of this bill and be collectively recognized as the bill entitled "Election Tie". 1. This bill indefinately suspends all election tie resolutions and comes into effect on the date of successful ratification. 2. This part of the bill recognizies all elections as free elections. In the event of a tie in any AWP election, the following elections laws shall take effect: A) A run off election shall take place, i) The voting period shall be for 5 days, ii) The candidates elidgile for the run off election are those who are tied for winner of the main election. iii) In the event of a tie in the run off election, please refer to part 3 of this bill, in the event there is no tie please refer to part 2.B) of this bill. B) The winner of the run off election shall be declared the winner of the election. 3. This part of the bill recognizes that there is a tie at the completion of the run off election. In the event that which has been recognized at the beginning of part 3 of this bill is true, then the following election laws shall take place. A) The tied candidates are put forth to the AWP Senate. i) The candidates will be put forth in the form of a bill to the senate. ii) The bill will have all members of the senate be presented with the option of choosing whichever candidate they decide to choose or they can abstain from voting. iii) The voting period for the senate will be the standard bill voting period as decided by the senate. iv) The candidates elidgile for the senate bill are those who are tied for winner of the run off election. V) There will be no campaigning allowed in the senate by the elidgile candidates. vi) If there is no tie of the senate vote then please refer to part 3.B) of this bill. If there is still a tie please refer to part 4 of this bill B) The winner of the election shall be declared after successfully recieving senate resolution. 4. This part of the bill recognizes that the senate is deadlocked, and a tie still exist's. In the event that which has been recognized at the beginning of part 4 of this bill is true, then the following election laws shall take place. A) The winner shall be decided be picked by the successfully elected senator(s), the regional founder, and the UN Delegate i) If the North senator is successfully elected, and the south senate seat is vacant, then the North Senator, UN Delegate and regional founder will participate. ii) If the South Senator is successfully elected, and the North Senate seat is vacant, then the South senator, UN Delegate and regional founder will participate. iii) If both senators are successfully elected, and the UN Delegate seat is vacant, then both senators and the regional founder will participate. iV) If both senators are successfully elected, and the UN Delegate is successfully elected, then both senators and the UN Delegate will participate. v) There will be no option to abstain from voting vi) Participation is manditory by the members of senate that are required to vote and decide the candidate, upon completion please refer to Part 4.B) of this bill. B) The candidate selected by part 4 shall be considered the winner of the election. 5. This bill shall be considered part of election law of AWP, and shall be enforced automatically in the event of a tie in an AWP election. This concludes the bill "Election Tie" |

Ok, looks good... But the voting is compulsory part should be removed... Compulsion in a game is a pet peeve of mine... As some people may be gone for a week etc. and this can cause problems... |

well, the reason I threw it in there is that it guaranteed a result. I just didn't want someone to opt out of voting. Especially since its solving a tie thats passed through 2 elections and the senate, and we still have a deadlock. Thats why I threw the compolsary vote in there. Also note, I never set a time limit on that vote, I just don't want something that's gone so far to not get resolved. And also note, that requirement only applies to Part 4.A) of the bill, and does not apply in Part 2 or 3. |
