I guess this is my first proposal, so here we go! If we going to screw something up, lets screw up something small. I propose that we get a list of memebers that are in the senate that are able to vote. Lets pin it at the top of both this part of the forum, and the public forum. List the members in order of Senority (oldest at the top). List the day they took office, their senate title (ie. Education Minister, Northern Senator, ect.) Their nation name, then the date their seat is up for election (if applicable). That way, everyone is listed, and it will help me for a few of the propsals I am drafting. Lets cretique the way I proposed this afterwards, unless I really bombed this one. |

I don't think he does, because he's running for south senate, so why would he run if he already had a seat here? Don't get me wrong, I have absolutely no clue! |

Yes, greek is minister of foreign affairs. He is allowed to run for senate, however, his minister position would need to be put in someone elses hands then. |

Ministers are able to vote but I don't believe greek has access to this thread for some reason. That is a mystery to me but that is the only exception that I know of. |

Only certain positions were given seats in the Senate, not exactly sure why but thats how its always been! At the moment its a 50/50 split between elected and apointed positions. |

It is? Oh... yeah... huh... what a coincidence... Yes, Greek is not in the senate simply because he doesn't have to do all that much. It's more of a title... If he operated all our embassy's I would let him in... But I run some... Numero runs some... Biain does a couple... It's all spread out... PLUS he is my annoying little brother... ![]() Good proposal Turl... I'll see if I can find everyone's entry dates... |

http://z3.invisionfree.com/A_World_Power/i...wtopic=641&st=0 there is a list in the Senate Offices at the link above. We need to expand the number of Senators BUT I think our primary objective this term should be getting the Regional Currency running a bit better as that is one feature that will keep newer members. We should also get a lower advisory chamber set up so everyone can debate legislation, that gets people involved more too. I think we should set up a Commerce Committee to review the currency system and the options available to us by looking at other regions systems and finding out what works. |
