I know that the southern senator situation is still being dealt with, is there anyway to get a read-only password out to the ministers, and senators? I'd also like to keep an eye on who's winning, especially if I decide to back someone. |

Well the people running are Ranholn and Greek and thats all the info anyone not in the south needs, sorry if that sounds harsh but the actual elections where kept seperate for example, I was not given the password to the North, so I don't see why a runoff election should be different. I can understand you might want to support your candidate but I don't see how that requires you to see how the votes are going (plus it would be difficult to implement). If you wanted an update I would suggest asking Ranholn. |

that does sound harsh! Does it "require" seeing the results? No, and I never said it required it, I just wanted to know if it could be done. I am having problems where i've been asking around like 3 or 4 times throughout the original campaign, and only got 1 reply as to whats going on in the south. I don't want permission to vote, I just would like to read only, to be able to see whats going on down there. If its difficult to impliment then ok, I'll find a way to get my updates. If they are deadlocked after the runoff, and I know they are deadlocked on the start of day 4, then I'll step in and endorse one of them, and help them campaign. This would just make it easier to do so. |

Sorry I seem to have grabbed the wrong end of the stick I assumed you wanted to see the vote count, if you are interested in what is being posted as far as I know people just post vote when they have voted, nothing more. |

lol... Biain... how wude! He's a senator... I think we can trust him to watch the elections... lol Numero has passwords to both etc. Unless you offer further opposition I think it's ok... We'll know if he votes illegally... But as you obviously oppose it I'll hear what you say first... I don't think it will be such a big deal if he can't see them... but hey... why not... He's a senator now...

Thanks Neas, watching is all I would like to do. This measure won't be needed at all, but I'll say it to put you at ease Biain, so Neas can act on it. If I cast a vote in the southern senate election, I'll resign if not booted from the senate. Everyone happy here? Can we all be friends again?! Also, has any literature been submitted of what to do in an election tie? If there isn't I am all over it. Just don't want to get on something that's already been submitted. |

Numero could see both, yet I couldn't (someone is playing favourites, joking btw). Alright I'm fine with Turl seeing it as my reasoning is down to personal preference while he actually seems to have a logical reason for wanting to see the results (finish the election quicker). Oh and it was rexepan who created the run-off legislation, I have no idea why it hasn't been brought to the senate however, maybe you can rectify this Turl?

We could do with editing the legislation a bit and then making it fit our designated structure for AWP legislation but its pretty straightforward. The other idea he suggested was a Senate report, maybe we should compile one at the end of each term or monthly. |

yeah I don't like the wording in either, we'll leave them as is for now, and I'll start working on 3 proposals, 1 to suspend the current proposals, 1 for in the even of a tie, and 1 abolishing the none of the above proposal, as IMHO doesn't need to be there, if someone doesn't like the candidates, tough luck for them, they should encourage someone the like to run, and they can always abstain from voting. |

Just to let you know, these havent been passed as legislation so dont need to be repealed, they were proposed but a non senate member but never put to the vote, we can play around with wording and make something we're happy with. The none of the above legislation is pretty similar to ensuring there is the option to abstain, we could include both piece in the same piece of legislation as separate articles, named the Electoral Reform Act
