High of 37 and low of 32. ![]() Special Alerts This weeks been a great week for the region as it comes closer to becoming A World Power! AWP came back from the FRA Defender Awards 2008 with three awards!
The Department of Immigration struck a milestone this week as we reached 80 delegate endorsements despite the RDF being partially deployed. We also hit 240 nations for the first time in our history. Senator Elections are currently taking place and will be closing very shortly. Early opinions polls on party support showed that out of the 10 voters asked, 40% (4) were likely to support DCAPCOMR which was equal with 40% (4) who were likely to support the IPP and 20% (2) would vote based on the candidate. However, more recent opinion polls on the candidates running placed Tothe ahead in the polls for the North and a neck and neck tie between Nitty and Ranholn in the South...
The vote ends soon but residents of either district can get the password to voting boards by messaging Neas. If you apply for a place on the map during the voting period then you are still able to vote. The Ministry of Defence has been subject to a revamp and Minister of Defence, Numero Capitan has awarded the first ever RDF Commendation to Turlmanistan;
The Regional Defence Force has been very busy this week and has been deployed in 8 locations in the past week and been very successful. This is all great news as AWP comes very close to celebrating its first anniversary! ![]() Repeal "Fair trial" A proposal to repeal a previously passed resolution Category: Repeal Resolution: #21 Proposed by: Jey Description: UN Resolution #21: Fair trial (Category: Human Rights; Strength: Mild) shall be struck out and rendered null and void. | "Mighty little force is needed to control a man whose mind has been hoodwinked; contrariwise, no amount of force can control a free man, a man whose mind is free. No, not the rack, not fission bombs, not anything — you can't conquer a free man; the most you can do is kill him." ~ Robert A. Heinlein | |
