Creator: Ellasar Title: Glowing Lightning additional credit: None Tutorial: Okay in this tutorial you will learn to make something like this: ![]() First off press D on your KB this will reset your ground colours. Now make a new document of about 500x500 Now heres where you actually need to do stuff Make a New Layer name it lightning Go to Filter>Render>Clouds ![]() next go to Filter>Render>Difference Clouds(right below clouds) you should have something like this so far ![]() after that you press CTRL+I which gives you this: ![]() Now press control L which takes you to this: ![]() your gonna drag the one in the middle to the far right. Now you need to colourize it! Press CTRL+U it'll take you here: ![]() MAKE SURE to have colourize checked, also you can do this with any colour i just chose blue... so far you should have something like this: ![]() Now the Lightning part is done... Glowy part Now make a New Layer name it Glowey You need to go to gradient setting now ![]() Now you must make sure you have this checked ![]() okay now you go back to your Layer and try to get this ![]() Now go to Filter>Render>Lensflare and do this: ![]() be sure for the flare to be 105mm and is in the middle of the diamond now your nearly done Go to Filter>Liquify go crazy try to get something like this ![]() your almost done... Now all you do is put the Glowey layer on top and use the blending mode as Linear light: ![]() Now merge the 2 layers Now your done Objective reached: ![]() have a good day
