Ok, now to start off with the very basics. Go into note pad and put this on your screen:
make sure the font is set to either 'Lucida console' or 'courier'. After that, leave one row of dashes ( - ) on the left, and start to make a simple word, such as, 'ASCII'. So we would start off on making the first letter of the word, which in this case, is 'A'.
to make the letters, you have to start by the left side to the right, and all of the left side at one time. If you do it top to bottom, it will make it harder on yourself. Try making the A on your own, by just looking at my A. Now that you've done that, lets go onto the next letter. 'S'. Try to leave at least one row of dashes ( - ) in between each letter. Just follow the same format as with the 'A'. Continue with all the letters like this untl you finish. Your end result may be different than mine, as shown here: -#########-#########-##########-###-###----------------------------------- -#########-#########-##########-###-###----------------------------------- -###---###-###-------###--------###-###---------------------- -###---###-###-------###--------###-###------------------- -#########-#########-###--------###-###---------------------------- -#########-#########-###--------###-###---------------------- -###---###-------###-###--------###-###---------------------- -###---###-#########-##########-###-###-------------------------------- -###---###-#########-##########-###-###----------------------------------- then after you have the ASCII done, you can delete the remaining dashes on the right. You should also delete the one row of dashes we started off with on the left. The final ASCII design should look something like this:
