Posts: 414 Group: Global Moderator Member #15 Joined: December 26, 2003	if you go to phpbb, I probably won't post here again. not because I don't want to, I actually like phpbb a lot! best board next to invision. heres why though: I'm on AOL. PHPBB locks out AOL users. -_- It reads the first 3 parts of your IP and logs it when you sign up. If those first three parts don't match, then you don't log in. Thats that. My IP changes all the time... so I never stay at phpbb sites. and phpbbhost isn't good...i went there to get my invision board hosted, and they told me I already posted a request and my IP matched 10 different people?!

Posts: 7 Group: Members Member #266 Joined: August 20, 2004	I used to have aol and i never had a problem with phpbb. And yea the AOL IPs change and match with different people. So I recomend a proxy.
