Yep my Wii is going into retirement after this weekend. So tonight I plan on playing some W@W & BOps to celebrate. After this weekend I will only be active on my WiiU. (& may possibly get Xboxlive for my Xbox as well) ![]() So this is a big farewell to all of my now former Wii friends out there. ![]() Thanks for all the great memories & online games over the years. ![]() Regards ANWA-Ned

Well Ned, we've had a good run. I miss our W@W bashes and will continue to miss them. You leaving the wii behind for the wiiu brings back so many good memories we had. Maybe in the future you can dust off that wii and your World At War disk and we can have a few games...hell, I'll still probably be on there if at all possible (if I can get it to work down my end). For me, World at War is timeless and I am sure will remain that way to me. Now for the tears and nostalgia! It's been a truly great run Ned, and I will miss our presence on the wii. I take it now I will assume full control of the wii section? (Joking of course). I still can't believe that the wii is finally being superseded. Yes, that's right, I remember it when it was new and they were running it at the shopping centres before it came out. I can't even comprehend the thought of you without the wii."As an old wii warrior signs off, a new wiiu warrior comes into the fray" Looks like it's just me and the other half of dad2 left, ANWA's lone wii warriors. You'll be missed on the wifi. cheers dad2 |

Actually since the WiiU is compatible with the Wii games I thought I might start a new profile for fun on W@W on my WiiU when I pick it up Tuesday.

Although I retired years ago, this still makes me remember and miss our 4am maim sessions! We would just destroy! Good luck with the Wii U Ned, and I'm sure you won't be able to leave the Wii completely

@TXT, and I don't think I would let him . Can't just have good ol' dad2 playing the wii. I'm sure I could convince Ned somehow to return to the wii once in awhile... cheers dad2 |

Well it would seem I can transfer all my Wii data to my WiiU. So I will still be playing W@W from time to time. ![]() But seriously once you try out a WiiU you won't want to play Wii anymore. ![]() I can also do Video phone calls from my WiiU hows that for a feature!!!
