![]() Mwa ha ha. Play as the bad guy! A new mission based DLC pack is coming to all versions of Dead Island. This allows you to play a brand new campaign from the perspective of Ryder White who was the main game’s bad guy. The DLC comes to the Playstation Store on 31 January for US$9.99. It then follows on Steam and Xbox Marketplace on February 1st for US$9.99 and 800 MS Points respectively. Hopefully we Australians won't be paying much more. Here is the trailer. |

I will definitely have to get this game back off my friend sometime! I didn't even buy the 1st DLC. I love these type of DLC's, playing as the bad guy from the main campaign is always alot of fun! |

Sounds great, a whole new campaign for probably AUS $15. As long it has new content, which it seems it does, should be good. |

Damn, this might just get me to BUY Dead Island, if I do end up getting it, would it be worth getting the arena DLC as well? |

I didn't get the arena but I heard it was awesome but I would suggest searching youtube for a bit of gameplay before deciding to buy the arena DLC. |

The Arena gameplay is fun, but rather repetitive. Actually, that is kinda Dead Island in general really. I might try and scab this off of a friend. I really enjoyed Dead Island, but it bored me quickly. The campaign does look good though. But then again, so did the Dead Island trailer. |

It actually looks really good, but I still wish they had followed the story of the original trailer. Maybe that will be a future DLC, because that trailer was mind-blowing ![]() I haven't played much Dead Island to be honest, because it is a little boring at times and no one really has it so I can't play co-op, so I just gave it back to my friend and didn't bother buying it lol. Maybe some good DLC will turn it around

Apparently this DLC isn't co-op. Well it doesn't seem to be by what most youtube comments have been on that trailer video. I found Dead Island fun to begin with, but got boring quickly around after Tier 1. Definitely needs to be played in co-op to be more fun. |

Even with 4 player co op, you get bored rather quickly. There isn't all that much to do besides the storyline, and that is kind of boring after the first time. |

Scope many of us actually do have the game but i refuse to play it again after the fact that the story could have been so much better, it just felt like they got lazy towards the end of the main campaign and it annoyed me and the fact is the difficulty is extremely hard you are bound to die ALOT. Regradless i may purchase this because i always wanted to know more about Ryder White he reminds me a lot of atlas from bioshock 1 |

I found the campaign easy as hell. Then again, I had my level 40+ friends join me when I was around level 20, and they turned off the level scaling. It was slaughter for them. |

when everyone is level 30 and the zombies are around 35 to many of them at once equals great loss of money |

I don't necessarily know if Ryder is like considering who Atlas was by the end of the game, but Ryder is still an interesting character, I want to play this because it looks like they could have put more effort into the story this time. |

I want to know if you see the main characters at all through it and if you have to fight them at the end. |
