Saw that too. All the mods are awesome. I love the PS3 mods that people do and they embed LED's in to the case, add water cooling, all sorts of crazy shit. |

While I admit it's a cool idea and something I would still love to own, If i had one I doubt I would play it more than my regular Wii! Also if the idea is portability and taking it on the go, the Wii is probably the worst system to go mobile with! The motion controls means you would still need a solid platform to place the laptop on . Also generally speaking, all consoles are really not suitable to allow you to hold a controller as well as the system with just two hands! Go out and buy a 3DS or wait for a PS Vita. The real appeal of such things as the Wii Laptop is that you can't go out and buy one! At least with those two systems you can! Edited by Luminal, Jan 14 2012, 02:24 AM.

However, if you managed to mod it for 3G support, and put a keyboard in to it, you would have a pretty cool little device on your hands. As you said though, the appeal is the uniqueness, not the functionality. |

I think this is why Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft don't make such things! They also add unnecessary costs that console manufacturers would rather avoid! Also a handheld console and it's games are designed for the reduced size of it's screens. In the case of this or other similar console mods, shrinking down the screen on devices that are meant to played with a TV could limit it's functionality even further! |

There was a 360 Laptop around a few years ago, and someone made a PC case mod to fit both the 360 and PS3 into it, with little LCD Screens to show the temperature of each console. |
