V, you are wrong there. In Cod you don't just spin and jump (which is very hard anyway) but you can get distant throwing knife kills, decent semtex sticks and simple multi man kills or collaterals.
Yea i guess so, but its still nothing compared to the stuff you can pull off in BF3

I wonder what the range of these guns are in Battlefield 3. A sniper shot over 1000 metres in real life is quite the achievement.

Yea in real life that would be crazy, you would be pissed if you were the other team and one guy was picking you of from a kilometre away.

only difference is that in real life there is wind, so it would be a bit different, but i would be cool if it was like the video games.

Yeah I wonder if realistic wind is going to happen next gen. Realism just for the sake of it though is silly!

They have wind in that sniper game, ghost sniper or something. Poor game IMO, but if you put it on hard they have everything like wind, breath, movement sway etc.

Apparently the next game of that is coming out soon on Cry Engine 3 and will be vastly improved..

Well the thing is, everyone complains about games being unrealistic but I doubt a totally realistic shooter experience would sell much or be enjoyed by many.

So how does the wind work in ghost sniper? Is there wind in multiplayer if there is any?

There are games like ArmA 2, which plenty of people enjoy, and is actually used by the military as a simulator. ArmA 2 is to war games what GT5 is to driving games. Not sure if that has wind though. Personally, I would not enjoy games with wind. It is hard enough as is!
