Brisbane Roar lose their 3rd game in a row!

After a massive 36 win streak, and looking the favourites to win backto-back premierships, Brisbane Roar have hit the lowest point of their season, and have lost their three last games, all of which were in their favour!

The first game they lost was against Syndey FC, after some brilliant play saw them score twice and easily win 2-0

The second game was against the Melbourne Heart, and after a brilliant start by the Heart scoring 2 goals, the Roar struck back with a goal, but were unable to break the Heart defence for the rest of the game, finishing 2-1

The third and most recent game was against Wellington, and after two mistakes by the Roar's midfield, Paul Ifill and Nick Ward both assisted and scored in each of the goals, even though the Roar domintated most of the game.

This puts extreme pressure on Brisbane Roar coach Ange Postecoglou, as he claimed that the Roar would easily bounce back in the last two games, but they have failed to impress!

So when does the A-League Finals/Playoffs start? It seems that one team pulled off the unthinkable and it has caused a chain reaction in which the 2 following teams have gone in and taken there chance, be interesting to hear how Brisbane go in the Finals/Playoffs/WhatEverTheyCallIt

Like I said, getting your hopes up too much will just lead to heads being dropped! Their confidence would have dropped quite a bit, but I'm sure they will be back on their game soon.

It's important to note that Brisbane lost 3 games in a row in 2010 but still won the flag. However the comp has really opened up after Roar's losses. The Mariners my actually be on op of the table after this weekend.
