Just wondering, does anyone in the clan have a HD PVR? |

I think ANWA-Suicide is the only member who has a HD-PVR so you should probably ask him about it. |

I may get a HD PVR during the life of the WiiU but I dont really want to spend too much money on one, then again I don't even know how much they cost

Price range is between about $220-$300 depending on who you get it from. http://www.google.com.au/products/catalog?hl=en&gs_upl=811l2467l0l2557l15l10l0l0l0l0l291l2477l0.1.9l10l0&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.,cf.osb&biw=1920&bih=965&q=hauppauge+hd+pvr&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=323945676283042967&sa=X&ei=55uPTtuDLuOciAemseWaDg&ved=0CFwQ8wIwAg |

Another good option if you don't want to spend heaps is the roxio capture card. It's the next best thing from the HDPVR and I think it's around $150-$160. |

Yeah I've heard it's alright. But I think if I'm going to upgrade from my EasyCap, I'd probably just go for the HD PVR. |

If you want it to appear on the laptop and T.V screen,. as said above you will need to use AV splitters to connect the easycap to the t.v, Laptop and PS3. As for the black and white, I had that problem for a while. It is either because you have a fake, faulty or old version of the easycap, or it is because you need to change some settings, I can't remember which settings I had to change but I think it had something to do with the Pal thing. To tell if it's fake - On the coloured topped wires on the Easycap, the very tip is metal, inside this metal, do you see a brown or golden colour? If yes then you have the real version, if no then you either have a fake or old version of Easycap. Don't worry though, some fake versions still work in colour they just take more tinkering. |
