After obviously selling a ton of headsets last time around including their signature Black Ops headset, PDP are back with a brand new Modern Warfare themed headset. The headset itself appears identical to the old model but with a shiny new MW3 logo and a brand new box. Hopefully this time it will come to Australian shops! ![]() Luminal - Remember I still have the non branded and Black Ops headsets for sale if anyone is interested. Looks like a really good headset to be honest, I didn't think wii would have this. I didn't see the black ops model. How may games do these headsets work on? And do they work well? My only concern is that it looks a bit long as if it would stick off my face or poke me in the eye haha. |

Does the BO one look the same and function the same as this one is proposed to. If so is this one really worthy getting unless you do not have the BO one? |

Yeah it is exactly the same, the 2 I have 1 is plain 1 has the BOps logo on it. That 1 looks no different to me Green, but I do also hope they reach our shops. They were quite hard to track down to begin with. |

How much do they cost? It would be a bit annoying if they were expensive as they only work on a couple of games. |

Not sure considering the price of the Aussie currency overseas atm, I'd hazard a guess at between $40 to $60 each there great value & work well. ![]() When I got my first 2 they cost me $70 each on Ebay. Lum also sells them for $50 / $60 & that also includes the postage by memory. I got 1 from Lum after UnseenGrim left $ama$es out 1 night & the Cat chewed it to bit's.

It may only work on Black Ops, Conduit 2 and MW3 but it's essential if you are a COD fan and only own a Wii. Would have been nice if this one was wireless though! |

Wireless would be great as well, but I am just happy we have a Mic at all really. ![]() The ability to communicate on the Mic is far better than Wii Speak ever was. |

I would love to see a set of Turtle Beaches designed for the Wii. I don't think they would work though with the lack of surround sound support and no multiple outputs. Would be very interesting to see them though if they were feasible. |

yeah if I never got a mic for Black Ops I would have stopped playing it a long time ago, thanks to the mic I've met loads of people and have had a crap load of fun, I'll always remember what black ops was for me once MW3 arrives

Yeah that would be cool Suicide, I like the look of the X11 Turtle Beach Headsets for the X360. |

I would expect Turtle Beach to come through on the Wii U but not so far into the Wii's life. |

Yeah, thats what I was thinking. Still, it would certainly be an interesting concept to see on the Wii, considering it has no surround sound. I think that WiiU headsets will be 360 compatible if they plug straight in to the controller. So the MW3 is the same headset with a new skin? With no point to buying a new one unless you don't have one? I understand now. Its a cash cow

Well like you said the Wii is only capable of Dolby Pro Logic 5.1 Surround Sound which is an analog format. Who's going to invest in a costly Turtle Beach Headset for a system that will be superceded next year anyway?
