What I meant by WaW, was that on the maps that Wii had, they had all of the same features. I didn't really think.that statement through though as WaW didn't have the tanks, challenges, map, zombies or killcam

The first time I played W@W was on PC when I got it again for my Wii it was very different.
But after a few weeks I liked the simplicity of the Wii version better than the PC version.
I think the nostalgic feeling of point & shoot like I did on the old NES was a big draw card.
Back then I wasn't interested in spending extra $ on Map packs & things I just played for fun.
The fact of the matter is I still only play for fun, but on PC it's a very Hard Core atmosphere.
I went looking for my old PC copy of W@W the other day but it's vanished now sadly.
It's been 3 years since I played that & I have moved house twice in that time.
So it has probably been thrown in a big skip at some point with other good junk I used to have.

Your not wrong there R-M-B, I have found that Wii has the best online atmosphere as well.
Most people online on Wii games are generally just there to play for fun anyway.
Except in CoD games where you will find that 5 out of 10 hosts will rage quit 10 seconds before the game ends properly.

Still you do find the odd hacker that just wrecks it for everybody as well.
(But that's on all systems to, hackers are just cheats who can't play properly anyway.)

Some of my friends have PS3s some have X360s the higher the content in graphics then I find I can't play for as long as I can on the Wii without getting a headache.
But when they are online they just seem to get canned in there games.

So I guess that's why I have continued to put up with Nintendo for so long.
But Nintendo have some solid work to do now they have announced the WiiU.
If it's meant to recapture the hardcore market then it better be flammin AWESOME.
Because I am also leaning closer to going over to X360 myself soonish at this point.

But I dare say when I eventually get my X360 I will still play more Wii Online anyway.

You are probably better off getting a PS3 as the games coming out on PS3 at the moment are alot better. And trust me, having friends on the console doesn't make it that much better.

All i want in the Wii version is: Killcams (if it is possible), theatre mode (you could save files onto an sd card, and MAP PACKS!!

If kill cams aren't a possibility, final kill cams atleast would be nice. The only reason I want kill cams is to eliminate camping (shows there spot).

To have theatre mode on the wii would be significantly straining on the system, providing it has alot of trouble running cod in the 1st place. But yeah, I think Final Killcam's would be possible, I don't really care about Map Packs anymore, I mean, the more you play the 1 map the more you learn to love it, for instance, Grid is my favourite map, but only because I've learnt it's secrets and perfections over time.

I don't mind the map Grid either Sephiroth, it's fast paced and I like the map best when I am doing S&D games.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 on the Wii will NOT have killcams or theatre, it's that simple.

The Wii does not have enough RAM to support either of them, let alone both, so it is out of the question.

Technically, the Wii is lucky to even have Black Ops and MWR...

They probably could but just can't be bothered. All they have to do is make the wii version run at 30FPS and they will have that extra space to allow those things.

Yup confirmed. All we know is that it will be released before the end of 2011. This may mean on release date or in December. But a confirmation is great to hear!
