OK I was talking to my mate about buying a PS3 today and he then mentioned to me why not buy my 360? He offered to sell it to me for $200 plus two games, he says the reason he is selling it is because he never plays it and he only ever brought 3 game throughout the time? What do you guys think should I go for it? |

To me its all the same thing - the choice you make should be based on who you want to play with. Most of the people i know have 360's so thats why I went in that direction. If everyone you know plays PS3 go that way. If you arent really drawn in any direction come to 360. We have a very active core group of players and would be happy to have you on board but ultimatley the decision is yours. |

i agree with dloc, and if you can get you/your parents to pay for online and you wouldn't mind paying for the better online, then go for the 360. if you like either of the consoles exclusive games, take that to thought. |

$200 plus two games is worth it as long as it works fine, I wouldn't get a PS3 if you can get a 360 with 2 games for a good price. |

I own both. I started with a PS3 and I moved to Xbox. I no longer use my PS3 at all. It comes down to if you wish to make the change and why. I moved to LIVE. The cross game chat is the thing I wanted and the ability to follow someone from one game to the next. I was booster hunting at the time and the wish to leave one game and follow the boosters to the next mixed with the cross gaming chat sold me. (And the new shiny black finish) Thing is you really only get time to play on one. If you wish to get it know why. Just because the offer is there does not mean you should take it. If you are not going to use it over your PS3 then it will not be worth the cash. My PS3 is for Infamous and GT5 now. I do not get time to play COD on it. If I want to play that I turn on my Xbox. Know what you are after. What you seek to get out of it otherwise like your mate it will just become a large and expensive paperweight. |

Well as TXT said you could buy a second hand PS3 for the same price. But if money isnt an issue its really personal preference. |

If you also looking to get clan/competitive matches in then playing with the xbox side would be the best choice as its way more organised in that area. Plus $80 a year isn't that much to pay for live. |

Like everyone else has said, it is personal choice. I prefer PS3 controllers and free online and so I chose the PS3. If you want more competitive gaming, go the 360. |

Yeah as Kance Said the PS3 is very poor with competitive gaming and $80 isn't heps. But if you've played PS3 before and liked it get it. Also YOU CAN PLAY HALO ON X-BOX <3 Isomadbro for not getting X-box when it comes to that. |

HALO is nothing specie. If you wish to make the change do so because you want to but not for that game. |
