Brisbane Win Their First A-League Grand Final

Brisbane Roar have come back from 2-0 down against the Mariners, and have won the 2010/11 A-League Grand Final.

The game remained scoreless during the First and Second halves of the game, so the game continued into Extra Time.

Suncorp Stadium, and Brisbane Roar, where left in shock, when Adam Kwasnik scored in the 96th minute to put the Mariners in the lead.

7 minutes later (103rd minute), Oliver Bozanic scored another for the Central Coast, making it 2-0, with only 17 minutes to go, meaning that Brisbane would have to pull their finger out, and make a comeback soon.

It wasn't until the 117th minute, when Henrique scored Brisbane's first goal, and brought them right back in the game with 3 minutes to go.

In the last minute of extra time, Brisbane's extraordinary comeback was complete, when Erik Paartalu scored.

The penalty shootout started off well, with both teams scoring there first 2, but Theoklitos came to the rescue, when he save 2 penalties, leaving Henrique to score the final penalty, and he did.

The celebrations are expected to go on throughout the night, and for the next few days.

In my eyes, Brisbane DID NOT deserve the win this year. I have watched a lot of their games and highlights, and they play very dirty, and seem to be very unsportsmanlike.

During a match against the Melbourne Victory, the Roar were down 3-2, and needed a goal. The ball got kicked down the Roar's defensive area, and Theoklitos ran out of the box, caught the ball, and then ran back into the box like nothing had happened, resulting in a Roar goal.

During another game (can't remember who), Henrique, the star Brazilian, decided it would be good to take a dive in the penalty box, so their unbeaten run would continue...

The Brisbane Roar are BY FAR the dirtiest team... Melbourne Victory have the dirtiest player, though. (Kevin Muscat)

The Central Coast SHOULD have won.

Oh and don't think I am a Victory supporter because of my first thingy, because I personally think the A-League is full of shit, but I do follow the highlights frequently to see how everything goes ;)
