3DS ditching Opera browser

Nintendo have for the past few years partnered with Opera for the their Internet browsers on the Wii and DS, but have now ditched them to partner with Netfront.

Netfront are no strangers to console because their browsers is used on the Playtation 3 and Playstation Portable system from Sony.

This should be a win for Nintendo fans as the 3DS browser from Netfront will likely support HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and IPv6 as well as the ability to play the latest Flash content and read PDF files.

It seems the days of your Nintendo browser not being able to view certain web pages are over!

OMG Now that is some seriously good news, for all of us Nintendo fans.
The Opera Browser did not do Nintendo Wii any justice.
Hopefully they implement this new browser in the new Wii2. :wii)
