The australian TV debut of 3DS has already occurred after Channel 9's A Current Affair had a segment about the heavily hyped hand held system due for launch on 31st March 2011!

Here is the segment:

Thats one lucky family getting to try it out before the rest of us have even seen it ;)
I think the 3DS is going to top the charts for hand held game consoles the hype that they have given it makes people just want it :D

Very lucky for them to be able to test it, and i found it funny that ACA got rejected coz they couldnt record the actual screen XD

but it seemed a bit too staged... like the girl was holding it to her face, when the 3D doesn't actualyl work that close :o

see scope spots things that others dont B)

"That's so scary". That girl was so convincing, she must have been playing some version of dead space.

Nah I kid, great that Aussies get some coverage but too bad no screen could be shot...

Yeah Nintendo are really trying to sell their 3D without glasses feature and to do that, consumers must first lay eyes on the 3DS Screen in all it's 3D glory. To think that in jus tover a month, people will own one!

Ha Ha I hate how Media organisations treat video games like they are only for kids. I'm sure the host has Wii fit or plays her DS herself!

Still I can't wait for my new shiny 3DS...buying new hardware is always memorable.
