I love Ikea too, but I dont like the meatballs, but Jason and the kids love them. I bought 2 bags of the frozen meatballs and have them in the freezer still. This has reminded me about them and dinner for tonight sorted now

I actually enjoyed assembling the things we bought, it has been a while since I did some flat pack building. The Ikea stuff is much more solid than the MFI stuff I used to get.

Is MFI still around in the UK ?

if there's one shop I'm not that keen on it's Ikea. I don't mind the market place bit for crockery and cutlery etc

MFI has gone - about 18 months ago now. We have also lost Harveys furniture store too

I was talking about MFI a couple of weeks ago and discovered it has been purchased by Walker Group.
Why they would want to resurrect the brand is beyond me.

I've never been to or seen an IKEA store.

My First IKEA visit was in The Netherlands, then Essex, then Sydney, and now Logan (Brisbane).

To me IKEA stuff is MFI re packaged, but, like Debs I love the market place and do have some ikea bookcases dotted around....I think its expensive for plastic wrapped chipboard though

I Lurve Ikea, the $15 lack side tables are great and I have klippan sofas on my patio. The kids always love to go on the holidays, I have no idea why.

I hate those meatballs but I do like their hotdogs. Another 'fan' of the Market Place although we do have a couple of those floating shelves in the girls rooms.
