The first confirmed price for a NBN connection has now been released.... Internode will charge $189.95 a month for the full 100Mbps service with a 1,000GB download quota. http://abcdiamond.com.au/nbn-broadband-monthly-household-costs/ Even the NBN cheaper but slower service is $59.95 pm for 12Mbps I'll stick with ADSL2+... it's faster and cheaper... |

It's no surprise to see such high pricing and people are not going to want to pay for it. I don't want it. However the government will not allow such an expensive system to become a white elephant so will force it on the public. I guess they will somehow try to stop copper wire internet and control wireless. This is another major stuff up by the ALP. The technology is advancing at much too quick a pace to commit billions of dollars on a system that may be superceded quite quickly in relative terms. |
