In the city.....
Take the maroon tram and stop off all the way round, Old Melbourne Gaol, Southbank, Vic Markets, Bourke Street Mall, Fitzroy Gardens (Captain Cookes Cottage etc) Tresury gardens.
The aquarium, The Zoo (which is my fave in Aus after Australia zoo) MCG/ AFL tour
Fed Square and a walk down the river past the boat sheds and Bruringmarr, The Polly Woodside...feck, the list is endless!

Outside the city....
Phillip island, heaps and heaps to do, google that one!
Great Ocean Rd
Science works
Dandenong ranges
Mornington peninsula (hot springs are a fave!)

Then theres the Snow at this time of year...Lake Mountain is the nearest and up and running this year after the fires, Stephensons falls is also open at the weekends and well worth the walk. Well, actually, it used to be, but we havent been up the falls since the fires cos its only just opened.

Healsville Santuary is another fave up that way. The Blackspur is one of my fave drives too....

Thats just for starters
