Anyone living near Sandgate Rd, Virginia, QLD 4014

Unleaded is apparently 128.2 today at United Virginia, 1786 Sandgate Rd

Best price near me is 142.9 in Cleveland, although Motormouth don't check my local service stations, i'll have to do that myself when I go out.

I put $10 worth in yesterday afternoon at $1.49

I was coming back from Brisbane City, and was almost empty while in the City, so it was a necessity. But I will fill up properly today.. probably about $1.29 after discounts.

So, say 60 litres at 20c saving = $12 saving, compared to filling up yesterday.

But I can near enough guarantee, after I fill up today, the price will drop tomorrow

However, my new car should only use about 9 litres for each 100k, instead of the 13 my old one used. That should equal $1,080 in petrol savings each year ($20 pw)

Just filled one car at $1.429 per litre 17th April 2011

6 months ago it was $1.235

A year ago it was $1.219 on 14th April 2010.

It is expected to hit $1.50 by Easter..... Maybe I should fill the other car up today also...
The thought makes me shudder... $120 on petrol in one day !!

However, that made me get my spreadsheet out...

My wifes car has cost $4.32 per day in fuel in the last 12 months.

Mine was $5.28...

Her car is used for the daily commute to the City, mine is the daughters taxi...

Gonna fill up today for $1.31 per litre (using 4c voucher) but I'm sure it's about to rocket tomorrow and we are heading off for a long drive up north so I know it's gonna cost us a fair bit. Just worked it out, prob 4 tanks worth!!!!!!!!!
