It is actually quite easy, it gives the info on the electric bills....
But you have to read it of course.

I put all this type of stuff on spreadsheets.
yes, i get the reading bit
But spread sheets? Keeping the figures for 5 years = GEEKASAURUS!!!!!

My dishwasher is on twice a day because of all the baking and cooking I do  its surprising how quickly it fills up!

No good putting clothes horse inside pool fence as it would not be under cover, and I dont like the sun on my clothes. I am just fussy about that and I know its silly, so will try and change.

Hevs your bill is more or less the same as mine as mine is for 3 months.

Just got mine in and it's $1008.65, thats less units than same time last year so we are cutting down, but the cost is so much higher..... theres a load of things I'll have to put on hold now to be able to pay this.

We've averaged 34.8 units per day in the last 2 weeks, which is higher than the average 31.9 per day for the last 12 months.

You appear to use about twice what we use.

we do have twice the number of people you have!

I think our problem is our aircon, where we live is sooooo hot that we have to have it on most of the time. it's set at 25 which can keep the house at around 27-30. OUr hot water is electric and we also have a septic pump which we have no way of knowing how often it runs. We have a pool pump and down lights in most rooms. The dishwasher is on heaps (but we have just bought a new one which has a very short wash time (28 mins) compared to the old ones 2 hours, washing machine is on loads too but has a 35 min cycle. kids have xboxs and lcd screens, we have 1 plasma which wa sprobably on loads through the holidays, every evening is spent in the theatre room which has a projector, blue ray and surround sound.... there is probably loads more I don't even realise we use. Only thing thats not electris is the cook top which is run on bottle gas.

Air con will be a big difference. I suppose we don't use ours too much, although these last few days have been a tad warm, with air con being needed.

Lynn is that for two or three months, that is shocking but not that surprising with the kids and the things they use and aircon, and being at home a lot of the time
