Hubby took us on a day trip to McLaren Vale, as a belated birthday treat, cos I was ill, anyway it's a lovely picturesque place, quite small but an enormous amount of wineries, only one prob Hubby was drivin so couldn't partake of any samples and I was still a little under the weather so didn't really feel like it.
We parked up and had a walk with the kids, they enjoyed just gettin out the house, we had somethin to eat and then discovered a quaint little railway carriage that has been converted into a cafe, so we will try there next time we visit, hopefully I will be 100% and hubby won't be drivin.
We are gonna price up a winery tour bus and make a day of it.....now I just need a babysitter.

Last time I did a wine tour, I was as sick as a parrot halfway though and for a day or so after. I drank nothing but water, simply the smell of the wineries was enough to set off a violent migraine. Not a pleasant experience. I used to love wine :S
