Leah found a wallet today in the pouring rain. She rummaged through it and found a business card and rang it. She asked the guy his name and checked his driving license and asked him if he'd lost his wallet. He had a look and said yes. She waited for him to come back for 15 mins and handed it over. There was no money in it but it had all of his credit cards, DL etc and the thing that got her was his kids pictures...bless.

He said that he was strapped at the mo and that it was a good job it wasn't full of money. He the rummaged into his pocket and took out $15 and gave it to her, she said No, but he insisted saying that he appreciated it so much. She was stoked and I felt very proud of her maturity in dealing with that situation!

I think 99% of them have but good on her. I'm over people being negative and disparaging about teenagers. We were all there and most of us were good in that way even if we fell flat in other areas.

I've been accused of being too positive on BE but I am, always will be and make no apologies for it and hearing stories like Leah's confirms that it's no bad thing.
