Vista Print FREE photo calenders

Has anyone else seen this FREE offer for a photo calender free of charge, from Vista print ?

Well, my advice is don't bother.

I've kept getting the emails, and today thought, why not, so I go through the process, select 13 photos to go on the calender, choosing the free options EVERY time, with no paid extras.

Get to the end, and enter credit card details, then see the cost...... $21

The calender is free, but there is a charge for uploading the photos, a hefty delivery charge and for Tax... $3.98

There was an option to cancel, so I chose that one

I found this out with vista print right at the start, all their stuff is free if you leave it long enough but they charge so much on top that you could buy it cheaper elsewhere. Prefer to use snapfish for things like that as their special offers are truly that.

I use vista print for my business stuff and can usually get things fairly cheap or free, but for anything with a photo I use snapfish (just got a photobook for $25 delivered) and for calanders right now try big W, they are $25 (i think) but on the front page there is a code to get 2 for 1. I find with photo stuff you have to use 3 or 4 sites to get the best deals around.

The best photo gift I've done in ages was last year I did a photo diary for Johns Mum, it took ages as it had around 60 pics in it but she absolutely adored it, I think I used photobox in the uk for that one.

I like the diary idea

I did some calendars again this year via snapfish, they had a half price sale on them so I was well pleased
