We have finally got to the stage of lighting out bakery oven YAY. It has horribly smokey at first but is now nice and warm. Tonight is a night for a glass or three of red wine a Thai takeaway and some music (no kids allowed). I will add some piccies of the finished room.

And here are a couple more. The room is far cosier than it looks in the photos and it really reminds me of sitting in an old cottage. The smoke smell is a bit of a problem at the moment but I am sure that will get better as we get more skilled at lighting the fire. It really does churn through the wood though so this won't be a regular occurence.
