THey have plenty of sandpit sand in bunnings down here, maybe I can get a bag or two sent up! :D

Got some good photos of our beach just after the storms but couldn't get them to load on here. The multi million dollar homes on the beaches are moaning that half their back gardens have disappeared and they want the council to pay for new fencing. You've got a multi million dollar house, buy your own sodding fencing.

Really sad to see the beaches actually, they reckon it's going to be a good two years before they recover, providing we have no more storms like the other week.

I'm going to ask a really thick question here sorry, but is that just sand or sand and rock. and what did they look like before.
how heavy were the storms to do that much damage?

I am trying to go through my older photos today to find a similar shot position, to try to show the difference. I thought I had some, but haven't located them yet.

This is a picture from a previous year, after similar storms, the beach was perfectly level before...
