It is still raining here in Queensland. We brought the guinea pig in this morning, as it was a bit wet out there. Glad we did, as it is even wetter now... Posted Image I have realised the grass in our garden isn't fully level :nah: |

No shit sherlock  Even the ducks have gone undercover for fear of being washed away. Pool's overflowing. Tank's overflowing. School oval will be a swimming pool and there will be lovely students walking through calf deep water because they can't be arsed to walk another 20 steps to use the other path. Don't mind as long as the forecasted wind stays away. Too many trees around to make that even sound fun  Ooh, I can see the creek half way down the block is now rushing along. Takes a fair bit of rain for that to be seen from the house. |

Roy is coming home tonight as he won't be working down there for a good while. It does sound rather nasty down there and i hope the warnings are incorrect for the wind they have forecasted as there is nothing worse than that as well. |

I was in the city when it hit and it was really wild. I was parked up outside the 96fm studio while it was at it's worst and they were outside recording the sound of the rain  It's the first rain we've seen in months and I'm truley sick of it already. I couldn't get home cos all the boom gates were stuck down due to power outages, the roads were flooded right left and centre and there were trees everywhere... not in the ground but flying through the air! In my ideal world it would rain only between the hours of 11pm and 5am. |

Just discovered that the classroom next to ours leaks like a sieve - literally. It was coming through the roof all over the classroom not just one spot and was exactly like rainfall. No one was brave enough to go out in the terrible to wind to find out if the roof was actually still on. Had to send the kisd out to get their schoolbags in as they started to fly across the oval  |
