Matt and I went to see it at the weekend and it was brilliant. It went from LOL funny to lump in your throat sad and back again and again. A lot of British humour in there and the Geordie accents wern't too badly done either.

My only critisism is that, to me, the stand out dance of the film was when Billies feet couldn't stop tapping and he danced like a loony to "A town called Malice". Well in the stage show they did the mad dance, but the music wasn't The Jam or didn't even have any "bup bup bup bup buppaduh bup bup buddabh" type keyboard played by the musicians. A small, but important piece of detail to me who bows to the Temple Of Mr Weller anyways :blushing:

But it was highly entertaining and professional and I would happily go again

Would love to see that but the shows like that seem to stay in Sydney and Melbourne and don't go up country. Definitely needs Malice though, can't imagine that bit working without it. Love the Electricity song though.
