I have just had the first day of my, working full time on my own with the kids week, while Ian is in the USA  . Of course Maggie decided to choose today to wake up with a sore throat and a temperature so I had to leave her at home with Sam for the day. I am off to Cubs for a Mother's Day bash this evening and then I have a week of testing at school  .
I will be a total wreck by the end of this week so watch the news for psycho teacher loses the plot mid lesson and is carted off to the funny farm   .

Chocolate I need LOTS of chocolate!!!!!!!

I am doing OK at the moment but it does make me very aware of what a hard job this is for those that have to do this regularly. Maggie was sick today and Joseph isn't very well so I'm not sure what tomorrow will bring.
Time for sleep now I think.

I know when hubby was away all the time in Navy I had to be super organised - clothes ironed & ready, lunches made up. I used to get into such a good routine then when hubby came back I would be all over the place and turning up to work without my lunch or running round at the last minute looking for bus fare!

It's hard enough working part time with the girls in tow and no hubbie around to help you. I'm having to admit that I do miss Roy as he does take care of the outside of the house and so with that on top on my usual plus running in circles around the girls I'm shattered. I did my back in doing the outside crap so he can have that back whenever he likes :)

I'm now only mowing the grass once a month and that is generally the day before he comes home though lol...and his last visit he put in a load of irrigation as I nearly killed off half his garden
