I also get that screensaver popup. It actually stops me going to the quiz most days now, as I don't like unrequested pop ups. Especially as I have pop ups blocked !!

I want to submit a correction but it wont let me!

''6. In 1965, Harold Wilson appointed Barbara Castle as Minister of Transport. Which of the following did she NOT introduce?

Your Answer: compulsory seat belts
The correct answer was the wheel clamp.

When James Callaghan took over from Harold Wilson, he sacked Barbara Castle stating she was 'too old,' however she went on to serve in both the European Parliament and House of Lords.''

compulsory seat belts were not introduced until the early 80's - 31st jan 1983 according to RoSPA - and werent introduced by her anyway :(

I tried submitting a correction but it just brought up a blank blue screen with a small note saying i have to be logged in - im logged into the game but dont know hwere else to log in!

hmmm ... perhaps the wording of the question is a bit misleading ... i researched this and it turns out the old battle axe ''paved the way'' for the introduciton of them ...

I think she introduced compulsory seatbelts in the context of it becoming compulsory for cars to have seatbelts fitted (in the front at least). I know a friend of mine had an old Rover from about 1962 and that had no seatbelts, but my first car (built in 1965) did.

Cheers,
