OK, I think most of you have a fair idea of what Terry and I look like. We've been invited to a 40th birthdya party next month and the theme is pop stars of the 70's and 80's.

Who should we go as? Don't want to be spending a fortune on costumes so something easily adaptable please.

Just thought. I could send Terry as Boy George. I could make him hair by plaiting lots of wool and putting bows and stuff in it then put a hat on. Get a big pink shirt/coat and stuff from the charity shop and he'll be well away. He says that no way is he being Dolly Parton again Posted Image

Now who can I go as?

Cool! We are supposed to be going to a 70's party this Saturday. I've got my outfit which is just a psychadelic mini dress. Not sure I'll look as hot as I was when I was in my 20's though.

I'm so crap at these type of things. I've got to come up with an outfit or your favourite TV character  I was trying to think of something cheap and easy to come up with so I was thinking if I blew up some blue water balloons and stuck them together somehow into a tall tower, then stuck it on my head and went as Marge Simpson lol

What about Boy George? as his outfits were pretty easy to copy just need a very large tee shirt. Or Adam and the Ants and get he white stripe across the nose? Actually go as Wham and get a white tee shirt and paint on the large black lettering then backcomb or give your fringe the flick treatment lol....or what about Captain Sensible

Well party was last night. Terry went as a very reluctant Marc Bolan.
