i can pick up extra hours at work!! unfortunately its down to someone being hospitalised, but thier misfortune is my good fortune! i shall be pretty much full time throughout december, so its good timing!
we are also looking at getting out in about 6 months time now - we cant move from where we are now (bloody council, long story) - so providing my health continues to improve, we are just going to grab the bull by the horns and go for it.


of course now ive posted that, something will happen as i have now jinxed myself :crazy:

:lol: i could think of one or two, but its actually a lovely lady who has to have her wrist operated on ... so as she will be off for at least 4 weeks, i pick up her shifts :thumbsup:

Oh, that brings back memories.... :sick:

I remember the doctor saying; we could cut the hand off at the wrist, or just fuse all the smashed up wrist bones, so it never moves again.

They ended up taking some bone from my hip, and putting that in my wrist.

Then I remember the gorgeous young physio girl in Randwick Hospital, who held my hand for a few months working it back and forwards, and I got 80% use back :ecstatic:

I have never been sure if the doctor was actually serious about cutting it off !
I remember the physio girl better than the doctor :)
