Ian has spent the weekend building the chook house and sorting the run out as we get our 4 chooks November 17th. I want to call them things like nugget, drumstick and omlet but the kids think that it is cruel. I have kept well away as that is where Ian managed to hit my nose and I am not giving him a second chance  .
We have also decided that we will be having a party to celebrate our citizenship towards the end of November and of course you are all invited  :dance2: :ecstatic: . If anyone is interested and thinks that they could manage to get to the back of beyond then PM me and I will send details.
So between now and then I have to get the outside of the house looking a little more presentable as there are huge dust bowl areas which aren't pretty to look at so I will have to see what we can do to tidy up  .
We are still waiting for the builder to arrive to start renovating the bakery room and fix the wall where we can see daylight through the bathroom wall.

OOoh Im sooo jealous - I`d love to have a couple of chooks (hubby won`t let me) what kind are you getting?? I`d love some Silkies (they just look mad) or Aracunas (cos they lay blue eggs).

We are getting just basic Isa Brown because they are good layers. I would love Silkies though as that is what the kids have at school and they are just like muppets  .

We have to wait until Nov 17th for the next delivery so that gives Ian some time to get the chook run finished.
