Thin Medical tape across the nose, from side to side, not blocking the holes
:) The tape holds the sides of the nose open, and allows normal airflow, and cuts down on snoring. It isn't uncomfortable either. Sometimes in the mornings I have forgotten to remove it, till I see it in the mirror :o Edit: When I saw the title of the thread, I thought someone had been talking about me  |

Once he's turned onto his side put a tennis ball in the bed where his back will go if he turns over. The tennis ball will make him go back onto his side where he shouldn't snore :crossfingers: |

Soapy i was going to suggest vicks but not where you suggested or the for the same reason
:nono: My hubby snores really bad, even the neighbours are disturbed by him. What i do is shove vick over his nose when he is asleep and for some reason it stops him being so bad. Either that or i shove the dog next to him who also snores and it wakes him up :P Mandy |

None of those remedies work for Kevan (well I've not tried the vicks one). He snores on his side, on his back, on his stomach - all different noises mind. When he's not snoring he does this thing in his mouth/throat that I've not worked out. It's a bit grinding teeth but more mechanical. Then there's the swallowing saliva which sounds like a drain cleaner. Then one leg gets cocked - ooh err and a howling gale comes under the covers. Then after he's been elbowed/kicked/smacked/screamed at, his arm comes over and lands on my stomach. Then he turns over and his elbow slides under my pillow. Do I have grounds for murder or divorce because jeezus christ I love him but him asleep? I'd put a contract out on him :she: I've just read that back. It appears I have issues  |

Moneypen I think I have the same issues!!!! I actually made Jason go to the doc and he got sent for a sleep study. They attached him to all sorts of monitors and electrodes and he was so uncomfortable he did not sleep all night. They told him in the morning he did not have any problems and when he said he did not sleep they said, thats fine, we will send report to your GP. When he went back to GP he said great you have no problems, so now Jason reckons I am the one with the problem  Honestly thoughts of murder frequently cross my mind at night  |

I don't think I'd get Kevan to the doctor about it. Apparently it doesn't worry him  I screamed so loudly at him one night, I woke the girls up. Kevan just rolled over and changed the tone of the noise   |

I find a sharp elbow in the ribs works everytime or I just leave him on the sofa where he's fallen asleep so I can get some sleep or the last resort send him away to work as it worked a treat for me until he came back  |
