I remember in about 2001 there was an earthquate somewhere in the UK, that was felt in London. I woke up and our house was shaking, it was really scary :scared: |

I was already awake and it shook my bed and lifted one side of it. It also moved our wooden futon a few feet in the living room. It was very scary. |

 @bix!! ooooh, it was dead scary ... the shaking wasnt too bad, it was the noise!!! our house shook terribly ... woke us all up but no damage thankfully. half of our street were out all wondering what had gone off - the bloke next door says '' worrit a nearthquake?'' and the old woman who is about 99 across the road replies '' dont be soft int'eard, we dunt get them rahnd ere ... it wo that bloody mine shaft collapsing ovver ont'field, i told ah tony yesterdee it wor gonna gu! Ah maxines just ringin't coppers, lets see wot shit they come up wi'' (theres an old mineshaft under one of the playing fields the next road on from us) me and my neighbour were peeing ourselves laughing  the papers are full of it today ... anyone would think some natural disaster had struck - at least no one died or lost thier homes with no hope of rebuilding them! bet the insurance companies get some dodgy claims in though  |
