Ok so do you remember when you got your visa and all the excitement that followed - the tears, the drama, the lists of "OMG look at what we have to do!!!!!" ?

Do you? of course you do!

Well that is me now - 17 months on from moving here, I'm now going through the process of all that in reverse. I admit there's not so much to do for returning as there was getting here, but still things to do.

I've booked our flights - was getting to a point where I'd need to be dragged in to the travel agents as I dreaded doing this - it's so final.

Had the shippers in for a quote and got one - using the same company as before - Wridgeways/John Mason.

De-clutter -again!

Quit the rental - in the process of that now and finish end March.

Make sure all of Paul's business is finished this end along with sort out the business accounts.

Transfer dosh

To sell as much of the furniture as I can and possibly some of items that I really can do without / buy new in the UK.

Look at rentals online for when we get back to the UK so that I can get the boys into schools - oh yeah I have to prove that they are in fact British first!

Find a new house

And fit in coffee mornings :eatdrink: and my keep fit regime :rosetints: See all my mates, have a leaving do, see some sights. Oh gawd

It can be really daunting at times when you list it all like that, I hope it all goes smoothly Debs - Remember one thing at a time don`t stress yourself or knacker yourself out (easier said than done I know). :)

it is Bridie. I've already cleared out so much rubbish that we (well errmmm Paul) brought over with us (him). Boxes of paperwork - out of date files/work things. So much. Next it's the toys that the boys no longer need.

Good luck with it all and keep in touch. You will be fine and I am sure that having the move to focus on will keep you going over the next few months. Sorry that we never got around to meeting you but if you are ever in the back of beyond in Victoria give us a shout.
