How many times have I heard that one!!!!!!

I managed it once as a student nurse. Eight of us sharing a house started and 3 (me included) finished. Impossible to do on your own.

If you manage it I'll buy you some chocolates next time we meet!

I am not giving up anything, in fact I have just eaten a cadbury's creme egg - yummmmmmmy!!! that my sister sent from Ireland for my birthday. She also sent me a box of walkers cheese and onion crisps.

I have hidden them away, so they are all mine

As I am teaching RE at a Catholic school we have been discussing Lent  . I got the kiddies to put down their lent plans i\on a piece of paper which I said I won't read and then they can check them at the end of lent to see whether they have kept to their promises. I am giving up chocolate did consider wine but after my first week of teaching that is something that I could never keep :blushing: .
So I am now replacing my chocolate with alcohol which I am sure defeats the object :P .
I will let you know how it goes.

So far it is all chocolate but that might change as lent goes on  . At the moment alcohol is providing a suitable substitute so I am OK.
