Well much as we needed rain the bloody stuff could have picked a better time, I had a site meeting with builders etc this morning at 0730, the roads were treacherous and then i spent 90 mins standing in the peeing rain talking about septics while getting soaked to the skin......... any other morning it would have been glorious.

Quite boring i'd imagine. Years and years of baking in the sun then getting soaked to the point where you leak..... then just when you think things are picking up along comes little miss high wind to suck you off....... next thing you know you are upside down in the garden 3 doors down waiting to be carted off to the scrap yard.

I think you should stick to being a lion Bix

the rain came down that fast here last night that it nearly flooded our new place! :o
for 30 mins we were in a panic
shed got a fair bit of water but we were ok. very luck, because if it had rained for another 10mins we were in the shit big time!

Glad it stopped when it did mate.
That would have been a nightmare.

We had a bit down here but not as much as Perth

Mind you, quite often we seem to miss it where we are - you can drive off the estate and it's soaking everywhere from rain and we'd never had a drop - very odd.

48 days without rain and then yesterday we had so much it flooded our garage.

It still shocked me that so many people had their retic on last night despite a day of solid rain
