So, if it wasn't enough that the neighbours to our right put up a massive cubby overlooking our house and garden and that the neighbours at the back have parties EVERY night, today I decided to go out for the day, as you do. Tonight I went out to water my pots and saw that the neighbours to my left have, in my absence, decided to prune my bourgainvillea. When I say prune....practically every single flower has been cut off and they have cut back over 5 cms back down my side of the fence so the whole plant looks terrible. Now, if it was overgrown and straggly etc I could partially understand it (although why they couldn't ask me to do it I don't know) but I am out there every day training that plant to run along the fence, two half metre branches that were cut he couldn't get out because they were trained in so there was no excuse to cut it. No more than 1 inch of green foliage could have been poking over at any point. Anyway I had the choice to spit feathers or to knock on the door so I did the later whilst OH cowered in the corner. Were they apologetic ? Not in the slightest, they couldn't believe my stupidity at growing a plant like that along the fence. They weren't very happy when I told them it was an ugly fence I was trying to cover, although why I have to justify what I plant in my garden is beyond me. So now I have decided that I will move and go into rented and then bring in here the family from hell. I'll give them a good year or so and then come back and, maybe, they may decide to be reasonable then !!! Until then...........it's war ! :she: Why is it that everyone keeps telling me how lovely Aussies are and I seem to be surrounded by the most selfish gits out. Can you tell I'm a tad angry ?! Will now shut up and go rant at OH again  |

Aw H you really are having a bad time of it neighbours wise ,Maybe he would like it if you did some of his gardening, could cut the heads off all his roses ,or maybe a nice cubby looking directly into his garden,my kids would be more than happy to man it & ask him what he is doing every time he ventures out the door  |

I think it's time you considered my suggestion...... Meantime I'll think up some ways to get even with them (or even one step ahead) while I'm lazing by the pool this weekend. |

very good. Keep this house and rent it out thereby attracting the tax breaks. We live in a rental elsewhere thereby getting rent assistance. Win win situation all round. |

You could hold a massive party and just inform them (being such a nice neighbour) that you are having a swinger party tonight so they will have to excuse the noise!
 Or just take up smoking the smelliest cigars and blow the smoke up their fooking arse the cheeky barstewards! |
