I know this is ridiculous but I feel sad that today I had to say goodbye to my beloved top loader and buy a new four star rated water efficient front loader. The reason for this is because we are having a pool put in we have to put water saving measures in place to offset filling of the pool. Had to get a justice of the peace to sign a declaration yesterday saying we had these things in place before pool can be started.

I know people moan about top loaders all the time, but I love mine :(

Anyway the saddest thing of all is the money I had to spend on a new washer when the old one worked just fine  Will get $200 government rebate though.

Anyone want to buy a lovely big top loader Maytag brand, perfect working order.

Why not just chuck the laundry into the pool with a bucket load of soap powder and get the kids to swim up and down vigorously, that should sort it :P
