To add to all the parrotts, gallahs, kookaburras, possums and lizards we have we also now have a resident owl
 He was doing a flyby round our heads at dusk this evening on the lawn before taking up perch in one of the trees :more: |

He would have done but was shut in as we were moving the tree in. He's going nuts at the minute as he can smell all the lizards in the garden and is trying to sniff them out from their hiding holes !! |

We get widgedity grubs in the wood pile, they make me wanna throw. Niall gets them and puts them in a tank for pets
:barf: We get possoms, cockies, rosellas, king parrotts FLAMIN galahs Kookaburras and for a rare treat we get two types of black cocatoo. One sort has yellow rings around their eys and the other ones have red tails. Oh and we get bats too! I love living slightly out of the burbs too! |

We get the big black cockatoos with red spots on their tails too  Mind you, they make an awful mess by stripping the tree outside the laundry room straight into the gutters on the house roof. We have two families of redcaps too  |

Posted Image Underneath the wing it is orange as well, very busy pretty little bird. Belongs I think to the king fisher family. The ones by us have chicks at the moment as you can see them flying in and out of their nest. |

I did that and they wouldn't swoop then but how do you continue going wherever you are going and stare at a ruddy magpie too ? Not been swooped yet, but I'm bound to be soon |
